DBKL Walkabout

ree

Today, KULQR had the honour of joining En. Naquib bin Hamdan (Director) and En. Izwan Razif bin Salehaped (Deputy Director) from Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) Department of Tourism, Arts and Sports for a walkabout through the Warisan KL zone around Dataran Merdeka.

Our discussions centred on how to breathe new life into Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic heritage sites—aligning with the national vision of making KL a must-visit ASEAN capital during Malaysia’s upcoming ASEAN chairmanship.

At KULQR, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering this transformation through digital tourism tools that not only preserve but amplify the stories, sights, and soul of the city. By bridging culture with technology, we aim to make every step in Kuala Lumpur an experience that’s immersive, informative, and impactful.

The future of heritage tourism is smart, sustainable, and story-driven—and we’re proud to be walking that path with DBKL and the Warisan KL initiative.
