Up & Away is a dynamic bar perched above a shophouse in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur. This sleek venue transforms from day to night with a curated cocktail menu, club energy, and live DJ sets. Housed alongside Alta Café, patrons can enjoy delicious bites like the famed Alta Burger, plus a range of cocktails on tap and inventive “Not Classics”—such as the playful Mangorita—that put a twist on familiar flavours.

Conceived by bartender Jordan Lim and his partner, Up & Away was born from the desire to create a nightlife sanctuary above Chinatown’s bustle. Blending crafted cocktails with intimate lighting, it quickly became known for its curated playlists and secret-garden upstairs vibe, stamping its mark as a must-visit after-dark escape.
