History
Da Bao Restobar is a charming bao specialty restaurant and bar that opened its doors on January 20, 2020. Rooted in Eastern aesthetics, the interior blends elements like Chinese lanterns, vintage wooden furniture, neon-light accents, and an open-kitchen layout to create a warm and nostalgic ambience.
Our menu features signature baos crafted with soft, fluffy dough and diverse toppings for a delightful flavor experience. And when you’re ready to unwind, head upstairs to our sophisticated cocktail bar—perfect for enjoying a drink after a satisfying meal.
The name "Da Bao" pays homage to Chinese culture, meaning literally "extra-large bun", while also cheekily referencing the colloquial term for "takeaway"—embodying our philosophy: we do the bao, you do the eating.

Da Bao was launched by friends who wanted to reimagine street food as a neon-lit urban adventure. Their oversized baos and two-tiered restobar layout, combining glow-bars and steamed delights, made classic comfort food feel like nightlife theater—drawing in a younger, creative crowd.
